On the afternoon of November 13, 2016, Tsinghua Jiangtai Road Campus organized the robot community to practice learning in the Space Application Technology Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences。The activity was led by the robot club teachers and arranged by the school. Engineering experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences explained the whole process and guided the space application science project. More than 10 students from the club participated in the activity。

The students first came to the operation control hall, sat in the space 2 space science experiment operation control station to watch the introduction video of space science, space experiments, Tiangong-2 related technologies, watched the daily activities of Tiangong-2 astronauts in real time, and truly experienced the status and feelings of space workers at work。

After that, the students came to the space remote science experiment platform and the robotic arm remote operation experiment platform to experience space exploration, virtual reality scenes, human-computer interaction experiments, and robotic arm remote operation control。With the visit, the students showed a strong interest in space science and actively consulted with scientists and engineers。

The practical activity to the Space Application Technology Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was part of the robot club activities of the Jiangtai Road Campus of the High School attached to Tsinghua University, which was fully supported by the school。The field visit experience not only opens up students' vision and greatly enhances students' desire for knowledge in science, but also shows the school's educational concept of cultivating all-round talents, planting a spark for students' future development。
